I can't believe I didn't remember her, but she was in Sherlock Holmes! :)
This is a review I found of her work and her career at The Runner Homepage. PARIS JEFFERSON Paris grew up in Sydney, Australia. Both her mother and grandmother were dancers, so it was not unusual that she spent the majority of her childhood immersed in a theatrical atmosphere dance, jazz and two classes from an early age. At 17 she went to San Diego to take classes for one year at the San Diego Performing Arts Centre where she played such roles as Madge in "Picnic" and Isabelle in "Ring around the Moon." On her return to Sydney she attended classes at the Actors Centre, Sydney, the Sailes Academy, the Rodenweiser Dance Centre and the N.S.W College of Dance (Sydney) before turning professional. Her theatre credits include, the Bay St. Theatre, Sydneys performance of "The Merchant of Venice" and "It had to be Yol.l.", "Carousel" for the Regent Theatre, Sydney, Julia in "The Good Doctor" and Sonja in "Uncle Vanya". She then decided that London would be the nest challenge and with a one way ticket and a handful of telephone numbers she set off ready for anything. One year later, Paris has accomplished much of her dream. Her television credits include Louise in the BBC's production of "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less", Sonya in "The Dingo Principal" and Lindy in "The Bill" for Thames TV. She has played the lead in "Devil's Caress", Julia in "Those Dear Departed", Quinn in "Angela Tsarkos" and more recently a supporting lead as Eve in "Strauss Dynasty". Paris spends much of her non-professional time supporting and campaigning for Greenpeace, "It's as important to me as acting..." "Paris has a charisma and, dare I say it, sexuality not often seen in an actress... She is absolutely captivating to watch", says Chris, "When reading for Kath, Paris shone brighter than any of the other actresses... Whilst on set, her extreme professionalism when filming under the worst conditions imaginable saved more than one scene", says Chris. Reviews I have found online This is
by no means complete. I will post as I find more on her.
